Whimsy Stamps DT Call

I am excited to try to become a new DT member of Whimsy Stamps.  I have been using Meljen's Designs for years. I was on the Meljen's Design DT for  two years and have loved everyone of the digital creations.

Meljen's Design - Goodbye

This will be my last post for Meljen's Design.  This has been a fabulous design team to be a part of.  I love and will continue to use Melissa's wonderful creations!  Due to my son in college, my daughter a junior in high school and my husband's traveling job, I need to step down from this great post.   I hope everyone has enjoyed all my creations with Meljen's Design.

My inspirational creation is using older images "Double Scoop Ice Cream" and "Sweet Sentiment".  I used Copic markers to color my pictures.  My designer papers are from Hobby Lobby.  Next, I added green heart button with blue/white floss knot.  A blue/white string and bow.  My finishing touches are four green pearls.

Meljen's Design Challenge #174 - Fancy Fonts

Here is my creation for this week's Meljen's Design Challenge #174 - Fancy Fonts.  I used "Families Forever" word art by Meljen's Design.  The flowers were created with "Little Layered Flowers Complete Set" by Meljen's Design.  The border edge was created with "Classic Triple Scallop Edge" and the leaves from "Botanical Swirls & Accents" by Spellbinders. The frame around my sentiment is "Romantic Labels Twenty also by Spellbinders.  My designer paper is from Hobby Lobby.  The swirls were made with Marianne Creatables Dies.  My finishing touches are white pearls.

Belli Challenge #174 - Glitter

Good morning, for the next two week's the Belli Challenge is Glitter.  Somewhere on your creation you need to add some glitter.  I used "Stitched Swirls Heart" by Meljen's Design.  I cut the heart out and added white pearls to the swirls.  My frame was created using Classic and Heart Circles by Spellbinders on glitter paper.  The designer background paper is from my sister's craft room.  Next, I added a strip of white pearls for the banner in the middle of the heart.  My finishing touches are white glitter swirls using Marianne Creatables Dies, white satin ribbon and two white roses.

DT Day With Meljen's Design

Hello again, today is my day to inspire you!  That is the theme this month, so I hope I do with this creation.  I used "Cup Of Sunshine" by Meljen's Design.  I colored my image with Copic markers.  My designer paper is from "Lavender" by My Mind's Eye.  I used the "Doily" MS punch to create my borders.  The frame was created using "Floral Ovals" by Spellbinders.  My finishing touches are two butterflies from Fred, She Said.

Meljen's Design Challenge - Wish You Were Here

This week on Meljen's Design Challenge - Wish You Were Here.  I used "Sail Away Sailor" by Meljen's Design.  I colored my image with Copic markers.  My designer paper is "The Nantucket Stack" by Die Cut With A View. My sentiment was computer generated onto my image.  My finishing touch is a suede ribbon and knot.

Meljen's Design Challenge #170 - Doodling

Here is my creation for this week's Meljen's Design Challenge - Doodling.  I used "Penpal Mouse Color" by Meljen's Design.  I'm not good at doodling, so I wrote my text in my designer paper "This & That" by Echo Park.  Next, I added three yellow square buttons with green floss.

Meljen's Design - Summer Fun

Here is a fun creation wishing I was on a beach somewhere tropical.  I used "Sand Castle Color"and "Summer Fun" sentiment by Meljen's Design.  I love the pre-colored images!  My designer paper is from my sister's craft room.  I used the Classic and Scalloped Circles by Spellbinders to create the frames.  My finishing touches are green flip flops and a blue pearl.

Meljen's Design Challenge #168 - Tag - You're It!

For this week's theme for the Meljen's Design Challenge is Tag-You're It!  Your creation needs to be a tag or a tag on what ever project you make.  I used "Party Time Cat Color" by Meljen's Design.  I just love the pre-colored images, just in case you need to make a card in a hurry.  My designer paper is "Hip Hip Hooray" by American Crafts.  I used Classic and Scalloped Circles by Spellbinders to create my frame around my words.  I added three different color seam bindings to my tag.  My finishing touches are three yellow pearls.

Belli Challenge #173 - Stars

Here is my creation for the 4th of July.  The theme for the Belli Challenge - Stars.  Somewhere there needs to be at least one star.  I used "Patriotic Bear Colored" by Meljen's Design.  My designer paper is from my sister's craft room.  The frame and star where created using Spellbinder's dies.  I added a blue grosgrain ribbon and bow with a red/white floss bow on top.  My finishing touches are a white star button with red/white floss bow and blue pearls.

Belli Challenge #172 - Wedding

Here is my creation for the Belli Challenge.  The theme for the next two weeks is Wedding.  I used "Hunny Bunny" by Meljen's Design.  I colored my image with Copic markers.  My designer paper is "Lost & Found Market Street" by My Mind's Eye.  The border edge was created with the Doily punch by MS.  Next, I added a pink silk bow from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.  My finishing touches are a gold/pearl heart button and cream pearls.

Meljen's Design - Hot Air Balloon

Here is a creation using "Hot Air Balloon" by Meljen's Design.  I colored my image with Copic markers.  My designer paper is "Moments" by My Mind's Eye.  The sentiment is from "Botanical Butterflies" by JustRite Papercraft.

Meljen's Design Challenge #164 - Dad, Daddy, Father

In honor of Father's Day this weekend,  Meljen's Design Challenge is Dad, Daddy, Father.  I used "Just Like Dad" by Meljen's Design.  I colored my image with Copic markers.  My sentiments are from Premium Labels" and "Summer Words" by JustRite Papercraft..  My designer paper is "Venice" by 7 Gypsies.  The frames were create with Classic Ovals by Spellbinders.  My finishing touches are 6 bronze brads.

DT Day for Meljen's Design

For this month I am asked to create an inspirational card.  I used "Lazy Susan Buggies" by Meljen's Design.  I am hoping this creation will inspire the sun to come out to play.We have had nothing but rain for the last 26 days!!

I colored my image with Copic markers.  My designer papers are "Sunshine" by My Mind's Eye.  My sentiment is from "Hugs & Kisses Sentiment" by JustRite Papercraft.  My frames were created using Classic Circles by Spellbinders.  The border edge was created with a MS punch.  My finishing touches are a cream ribbon and bow.

Here is a fun creation using "Hot Apple Pie" and the sentiment "Sweet" by Meljen's Design.  I colored my images with Copic markers.  My designer paper is "Happy Day" by My Mind's Eye.  To create the two frames I used Classic and Scalloped Circles by Spellbinders.

Meljen's Design Challenge #162 - Color

This week on Meljen's Design #162 - Color Challenge.  You need to incorporate the colors below my creation into your creation.  I used "Little Pinata" by Meljen's Design.  I colored my image with Copic markers.  My designer paper is "Happy Day" by My Mind's Eye.  My finishing touches are two teal pearls.

Here is an inspirational creation using "Two Peas in a Pod" by Meljen's Design.  I colored my image with Copic markers.  My designer papers are from Hobby Lobby.  The frame under the image was created using Classic and Scalloped Circles by Spellbinders.   The border edge was made with Decorative Edge Four also by Spellbinders.  My finishing touches are a seam binding ribbon/bow and green pearls.

Meljen's Design Challenge #160 - "Words With Friends"

On the Meljen's Design Challenge #160 - "Words With Friends" you need to you lots of text, torn page from a book, I created my own text.  I used "Flowers In My Pocket" by Meljen's Design.  I colored my image with Copic markers.  I printed the image twice in two different sizes.  I colored and cut out the smaller size and pop dotted them onto the original flowers and then added some extra to create them to look like the pocket is overflowing with flowers.  My sentiment was computer generated. 

Meljen's Design Challenge - "What's The Point"

This week on Meljen's Design Challenge - "What's The Point", you need to use any element with a point.  For example, a stick pin, the image can have a point, the point of a any die.  I used the "Fiesta Diva" by Meljen's Design.  I colored her with Copic markers.  My designer paper is "Vintage Blue" by Glitz Paper.  My frame was created using Classic and Scalloped Circles by Spellbinders PaperArts.  My point is a stick pin that I created.  And my finishing touch is a black organza bow.

Meljen's Design - Animal Cupcakes

Here is an inspirational creation using "Bunny Cupcake", "Mouse Cupcake" and "Teddy Bear Cupcake" by Meljen's Design.  I colored my images with Copic markers.  My designer paper is from a fabulous store I found in the Mall Of America called Archives!  The frames around the images were created using Classic Circles by Spellbinders PaperAts.  My finishing touches are a organza/satin ribbon/bow, three pink pearls and a flower button for the bow.
