Fred, She Said - Christmas Bird Series

Here is the first of my Christmas creations to come.  I used a pre-coloured Christmas cardinal from the "Christmas Bird Series" by Fred, She Said.  I created my frame using Holly Motifs by Spellbinders.  My designer paper is "Season's Greetings" by Echo Park Paper Co.  My finishing touches are red pearls and a red/gold satin bow.

Devastating News: House Fire

On Tuesday morning, I received a call from my sister Darsie Bruno crying and screaming her house was on fire!  Imagine the fear, heartache, devastation, emptiness, dread, and sorrow.  Over at JustRite Papercraft, there is a fundraiser for her.  You can leave a comment with encouraging words or a monetary donation.  Her craft room was heavily destroyed by smoke, not sure what she can save.  The duplex has been condemned and she is being helped by Red Cross.  You can read more when you visit JustRite Papercraft.

Thank you is not enough for anything you can do for her, she is already so overwhelmed by the out pour of comments and donations!  Her emotions are so out of sort, she will respond sometime in a couple of weeks after she can get settled into a new home.  I would also like to Thank everyone in the crafting world for all the help she has received thus far.  What a fabulous family we all belong too!!

Meljen's Design DT Day - Tic-Tac-Toe

On my fun creation I used the top left diagonal.  The image I chose is "Little Frankie" byMeljen's Design.  I colored him with Copic markers.  My designer paper is "Trick or Treat" by The Paper Studio.  I used an orange  Boo button, green brads and Drippy Goo MS punch.  And my finishing touch is black rick rack.

This was really fun and made you think, come along and play this fabulous game!!  

Belli Challenge #154 - Veteran/Military

The theme for the next two weeks for the Belli Challenge is Veteran/Military.  I used a freebie that I got off of the Free Digital Stamps site.  My designer paper is from Hobby Lobby.  I used the Fleur De Lis Rectangle by Spellbinders and Oval Medallions by JustRite Papercraft to create the frames.  And my finishing touch are four blue rhinestone stars.

Fred, She Said - Calla Lilies With Sentiments

Here is a creation for one of my many adopted sons for his wedding.  I used "Calla Lilies With Sentiments" by Fred, She Said.  This comes in a pre-coloured set and digi.  My designer paper is from Hobby Lobby.  I used Labels Seventeen, Labels Twenty and Floral Ovals by Spellbinders.  The sentiment comes with this set.    My finishing touches are burnt orange pearls.

Meljen's Design Challenge #130 - Anything Goes

Here is my creation using "Little Ghost Kid" by Meljen's Design.  For the next two weeks on the Meljen's Design Challenge #130 - Anything Goes" is the theme.  I colored my image with Copic markers.  My designer paper is Midnight Magic by Recollections Signature Special.  I used the Floral Oval by Spellbinders to create the frame.  My finishing touches are a yellow/orange organza bow and a Trick or Treat charm.

Fred, She Said - Lenten Roses - Hellebores

Here is my creation for my husband's boss, Terry's father who unexpectedly passed away this August. I used the pre-coloured images of "Lenten Roses" and "Wee Hummingbirds and Petunias" by Fred, She Said.  I used the Romantic Rectangle by Spellbinders for the frame.  My designer paper is from Hobby Lobby.  My sentiment is by Rubber Stampede.  My finishing touch are three cream pearls.
