Deer Friend...

Here's a cute card I made using one of my favorite holiday images from Deedee's Digis called "Deer Friend."  I created this card using a Snowflake Swirl embossing folder and Marvy Brown Ink. My designer paper is from the Christmas Stack by Die Cuts with a View. I colored the reindeer with Copic markers then cut him out and glued him to the embossed panel. I used a sparkly brown snowflake and small brown pearls for embellishments.

I am MOST Thankful for...

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!!  I love Thanksgiving because it makes use remember what and who we are MOST thankful for in life.  First of all, I am thankful for my most PRECIOUS asset in my life, my TERRIFIC sister Darsie.  She is the MOST giving , wonderful, loving, sweet and funny lady you will ever be privileged to have in your life.  LYTAM, Darsie!!

My family, friends in Minnesota and my friends from the Belli Challenge DT, Stamping Dragon DT, and last but NOT the least DeeDee's Digis DT.  All of these ladies are fabulous to work with and I am truly honored to have each and everyone as a special friend to me.

I created this card using the image "Thomas Turkey" by Meljens Designs over at Whimsy Stamps.  I colored the turkey with Copic markers.  My designer paper I got from my sister's leftover stash of paper.  My embossing folder is Swiss Dots by Cuddlebug.  I used the scalloped retangle to cut out my brown glitter paper.  I finished my card with peel off letter stickers, red rhinestones and a brown organza/satin ribbon.

I colored the candle and roses with Copic markers.  The embossing folder is from Quickutz.  Then I added a red satin ribbon and some lacey scallop trim (that I got from my sister).  Next I added a red/gold organza ribbon and a red rose from  Recollections.   I finished by adding red pearls on the diamond shapes.

Tis Better to Give Blog Hop

The Holiday season is upon us -- a blessed time of love and laughter, precious moments spent with family, good food aplenty, and, for many of us, gifts and giving. Deedee's Digis Design Team has come together to share with you some ideas for fabulous gifts you can make! Join us today on our Blog Hop as we show you why "tis better to give" -- because not only will you have fun giving these gifts, but making them as well.

Here's how the hop works: To participate, visit each designer's blogs to see a fun project using one of Deedee's Digis and leave a comment on their post for a chance to win a free digi of your choice at Deedee's Digis Store. You have until 12 noon ET on Sunday to comment. Each designer will choose a winner Sunday evening, and we'll announce them on the Crafting with Deedee's Digis blog on Monday morning. Please be sure to check back then to see if you've won!

Don't forget that there is still time to take advantage of the Sale on Fall Digis! It lasts through November and it's a good time to purchase for next year!

Here is the list of designers:

Rupert's Thanksgiving...

Hi, it's Darsie here again (Robin's sister). While she is recuperating from her foot surgery, I will be posting for her! She made a darling Thanksgiving card using Stamping Dragon Designs "Rupert's Thanksgiving". Right now, they are having a November Sale and now is the time to pick up these fabulous images for your holiday crafting!

Robin colored Rupert with Copic Markers, then glued him to a blue checkered pattern paper which was then adhered to brown glitter paper from Doodlebug. Her sentiment (Inkadinkado) was stamped with Marvy Brown ink, and mounted to the same checkered paper. She glued it onto a white panel, then to a brown and blue striped designer paper from JoAnn's and added some cute rhinestone embellishments. Last thing she added was a pretty organza and satin bow, and brown pearls in the corners.
