Craft Us Crazy Guest Designer

I am the guest designer for Craft Us Crazy Challenge which is being sponsored by Meljen's Design.  As a member of the Meljen's Design team, I am honored to be asked to participate in this challenge.  The challenge is to create something for Mother's Day and/or Flowers.

I created this card for a new mother.  I colored my image "Baby Shower" and "Little Pull Duck" previously released images by Meljen's Design over at Whimsy Stamps.  My designer paper is from my sister Darsie's craft room.  I used an EK Success punch.  Added ivory ribbon and bow.  Then my final touches are green pearls and baby button.

Beli Challenge #116 - Royal

I created this card for the Belli Challenge.  This week's challenge is 'Royal" in honor of Prince William & Catherine Middleton, the soon to be Princess Catherine getting married.

I colored my Ken & Barbie image with Copic markers.  My designer paper is from my sister Darsie's large stack of paper.  I used the Beaded Oval Nestabilitity with white pearls.  The punch is traditional eyelet from MS.  My finishing touches area iridescent ribbon/bow and a beaded button as the bouquet.

Meljen's Design Inspiration - Tantalizing Tuesday

Today is Tantalizing Tuesday over at Meljen's Design.  I created the card using "Baby Stork" from the previously released images.  These images are GREAT for new parents!!

I colored the stork with Copic markers.  My designer paper is "Life's Little Occasions" by K&Company.  The sentiment is a freebie from Melissa.  I added yellow ribbon, green rick rack, yellow/green paper flowers.  My finishing touches are colored pearls.

Seeds of Kindness

Happy Monday!! I just love this image called "Seeds of Kindness" by DeeDee Digis.  This is so true, anytime you make a friend it takes just something small (Like a seed).  A smile, a hug, an ear or cardmaking is all that is needed to make and keep friends forever.

I colored this plant with Copic markers.  my designer paper is from Michael's.  My stickers are from Jolee's and I finished with colored pearls.

Happy Easter!!

I created this card with Easter in mind.  I am using "Easter Lilies With Sentiments Digi Set" by Fred, She Said.  I love the lily image and the perfect sentiment.  I colored the lilies with Copic markers.  My designer paper is Cappella Paper Pad by Basic Grey.  I added a pale yellow and soft teal satin ribbon and yellow bow.  My finishing touch are pale yellow pearls.

Celebration!!!-New Design Team Member...

Woot, Woot, I am the NEW design team member for Meljen's Design.  I am so EXCITED to make this announcement!!  It is a dream come true, I just LOVE all of Melissa's images and looking forward to creating with them. 

My first creation is using the new releases for Meljen's Design Challenge.  This week's challenge is to create a masculine card.  I am using the "Fireman Bear" and two Freebie sentiments that I put together on the computer to generate my own.  I colored him with Copic markers.  My designer paper is "Americana" from K&Company.  I finished with a tan satin ribbon/bow, red pearls and a red star.

Gifts Of Spring!!

Happy Monday to everyone! For my post, I am using "Gifts of Spring" from DeeDee's Digis. I colored my image with Copic markers. My designer papers are from Hobby Lobby. I used the MS punch with corner flowers. My flower lace is from my sister Darsie's stash. My sentiment is "First Peek Of Spring" another of DeeDee's Digis. I finished with yellow, pink and blue pearls.

Smelling the Cherry Blossoms

.Here is an adorable little Emma dressed as an Oriental girl in her kimono.  She is called "Smelling the Cherry Blossoms" from Fred, She Said.  This image comes as pre-coloured or as a digi.  I choose to use the pre-coloured without the background scene.  The flowers also comes with this set.

I sponge Marvy Yellow Green ink around her.  My designer paper is from Dots, Stripes and Plaids by Die Cut With a View and from Hobby Lobby.  I used the iron gate punch by MS.  The last touches are string white/lime green pearls to finish.

Belli Challenge #115-Eggs and Bunnies

I created this card for the Belli Challenge.  This week's theme is "Eggs and Bunnies" to get in the mood for Easter!  My image is called "Fluffy Bunny" by Meljen's Designs over at Whimsy Stamps

 I colored my bunny with Copic markers.  My designer paper is from Hobby Lobby.  I used the Classic and Scalloped Nestabilities.  My punch is the Fluer Di Le by EK Success.  Next, I added pink satin ribbon and diamond shaped lace.  My finishing touches are white pearls and glitter.

Greatest Joy!!

Good morning and Happy Monday to all. Today I am posting this adorable little mouse called "Greatest Joy" by DeeDee's Digis. He is the cutest little guy with his overalls on that he reminds me of a country mouse. So I did our country's colors of red, white and blue. He is very patriotic!!

I colored him with Copic markers. My designer paper came from Hobby Lobby. I used white satin and red/white star grograin ribbons. My punch is by EK Success and used the classic and scalloped Nestabilities. My finishing touches are white/red pearls.

First Peek Of Spring!!

Happy Monday everyone!  This week I am using "First Peek Of Spring" from DeeDee's Digis. I just love and adore this cute little bunny peeking out of this basket of flowers. So many fun and precious images, you need to go and purchase.


I colored my bunny with Copic markers. My designer paper I bought from Hobby Lobby. I added yellow satin ribbon, pink buttons and yellow pearls. My finishing touches are the three stars with floss in the colors to match the paper.
