The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge

Hello everyone!  I am trying to be a little more social.  So for this week's The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge, I did CAS.  I'm not very good at that yet...but am working on it.  First, thing I did was emboss my background paper with a Cuttlebug "Dots" folder.  I used a border from "Classic Lace Border One" by JustRite Papercraft. I cut this out and used Copic markers to color.  Next, I used "Classic Ric Rac Edgablities"  by Spellbinders to create the outer frame for the border.  The sentiment was computer generated and the frame is "Gold Labels Four" also by Spellbinders.  The final touch is a thin red/white satin ribbon and red/white pearls.

Here is this week's sketch:

  1. A great take on the sketch, Robin and also a great CAS card. I too, have trouble with CAS and am also trying to get the hang of it, but although it's 'simple' it's not easy to achieve for me. Unlike you who have created a stunning card in this style. Hugs, Ann

  2. What a fabulous card Robin. Love the graphic prints and how you colord them... the black border looks great. I also like the tag. Very pretty.
