The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge

How can a nasty little bug become the prettiest butterfly?  My kids would collect and feed the caterpillar until they spun their cocoons and turned into one.  It was a lot of fun and interesting to see nature at it's best!  So I decided to get my last little bit of summer in on my creation for The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge.

The sentiment is "Every Day Miracles" and the butterfly is "Blue Morpho Butterfly" by Sweet N Sassy.  The frames around the sentiment is "Classic Circles" and "Lacey Circles" by Spellbinders® PaperArts.  The designer papers are from "Moments" by My Mind's Eye.  The butterfly was colored with Copic markers. The border edge was created using MS Doily punch.

Here is this week's sketch:

  1. Gorgeous, Robin! Love the combination of papers and the pretty doily border! My first graders loved watching the metamorphosis of a butterfly! Hugs!

  2. Beautiful card Robin. Love the gorgoeus butterfly, the scallop edges... teh patterns are so pretty on the papers.

  3. The colors on your card just dazzle the eyes! I love the sentiment fonts, those amazing papers and how everything perfectly coordinates! Gorgeous butterfly accent too! NJ!

Thank you so much for your lovely comment, it makes my day.
